Default Rookie from Kansas City

Good morning everybody, and thanks for having me here. I'm a rookie to the woodworking realm, I do have some experience with turning, I've made a lot of bowls, salt and pepper mills, pens, that sort of thing and am looking into something more substantial. I'd really like to make smaller boxes and such (humidors, jewelry boxes) on my way to tables and more intricate furniture.
Anyway I know I have a LOT to learn and look forward to picking your brains.

thanks,

Austin

Austin, You have joined a bunch of guys that are proud of what they do and love to share there knowledge, we have all learned from our mastakes in the wood shop and are not ashamed to tell you about them so you don't waste that piece of wood like did. Stay with the project and ask if your not sure. Also keep safety in the front of all cuts.
