Default Afraid of router, to big!

I have router I have had for years and only used 1 time to do one side of board! Put it on a router table thinging it would help but still haven't used! I want to redo my kitchen cabinets by routering something one them. How thick does the door need to be to do this? I NEED a smaller router I can't hardly hold this one!

Well, you could always send it to me and I could send you one of my little 1.5 HP craftsman routers from the 1970's! LOL.

Hi Evie

That's the norm for most turn the speed down it will help but use the big router in the table and let it hold it for you..
