Default New Member Just saying Hi

I just joined today because I want to build my own router table for a Triton TR001A that I ordered, due next week.

I'll probably design my own for the same reasons that everyone does - 1. Satisfy my specific needs 2. Use materials already on hand or cheap to get 3. As a learning experience.

I've been searching the web for ideas and came across this site which looks a rich source. I've been working on this for at least 6 months so far. I work full time and I've now decided to make wood working into my main hobby, when I'm not playing golf or riding horses.

Just checked out your chest of drawers photos posted yesterday. You've given me some good ideas. I like your very simple knock-down, stow away router table!

Hello Buck and Welcome to the router forums.

Here is a *link* to a discussion thread here that covers how users here set up (or build from scratch) tables in their shops.

Hi Gordon,

My router table is an Oak park table I bought from Canada and posted to me by a forum friend. This table is no longer available (shame)...

This was the table used by Bob and Rick in their TV series on US cable TV

I just attached the table to a cheap work mate clone from Bunnings..

Works well for me.
