Default New Old guy

Just found this forum. Have loved woodworking since my 7th grade shop. High school brought more shops which I loved more than school. Machine shop, wood shops, structural shop (worked with I beams and rivets), metal shops, foundry. Yes that was a real school (Brooklyn Tech) and started me on the way to a love of machines and wood work. Now at 70 I still have a basement shop where I can do just about anything needed around the house, and still do.

David you've got me beat by a few years but 7th grade is where I got hooked on woodworking myself. After a lifetime of collecting tools I've finally reached a point where I have tools to fix tools.
