Default Greetings from the hills of Virginia!

Wow... what a wealth of information this forum contains.

I live in SW Virginia, have been woodworking for years, although most of it has been spent woodturning and demonstrating woodturning.

I have a sawmill and lots of slabs that need to be used, I'm currently VERY under-employed, so I'm taking up "flat-work" in the form of tables, benches, stools, etc., which is how I came to find this group; I was Google-searching for methods to inlay 'dutchmen' across cracks in some of my larger slabs (and boy did I ever find it!).

Y'all have already explained so much about router-craft to me that I'll forever be in your debt. Thank you, and I look forward to contributing at some point!

Sincerely, Matt

Welcome to the router forum.

Thank you for joining us, Matt.

Those inlay kits can be very useful.
