Default An introduction

Hi all,
I am glad I found this sight, I am a 62 year old retired Dairy farmer who is curently working as a civil engineer and in my spare time cycle mountain bike and do woodwork making odd presents for family and friends. My daughter got married last year and has asked me to make a cutlery canteen for her, I am a bit nervous (make that very nervous) to tackle a project like this as it will be on display in the house and not the garden so in looking for plans and ideas I came across this sight and liked what I saw. The cutlery set is a 12 place antique set given to them by her husbands family and I would like to make a special piece time is not a problem.
I have some equipment , skill saw, Elu router, electric plane and sanders and will purchasing other equipment as the need arises.

Regards Peter
