Default My first post

This is my first time posting anywhere, so I am pumped its at a place with Router in the name! I am passionate about woodworking, board sports, boating, and being creative. In general I would consider myself an advanced woodworking/craftsman, but I am sure there are a lot of people on here that could make me eat my words!

Currently, I am the Foreman of a Cabinet Shop at a Ambulance and Rescue vehicle manufacturer. Taking direction from CAD and SolidWorks dwgs we cut, assemble, laminate, and hardware custom cabinetry. My new interest is paddles for Stand Up Paddle Surfboards. My GF got me a SUP board for Xmas, and I decided to make my own paddle. Worked out pretty well, so I am going to try to make a business out of it.

Although I have made my paddles by hand so far, I am now going to buy a CNC Shark. When I was following up on bits from Amana, and they directed me here to learn some more.

Thanks for having me.

Jason

Greetings Jason,

Welcome to The Router Forums!

I agree with you on the matter of their being many master craftsmen in this forum.

The more I read and consider, the more I learn!
