Default Hello All

I am looking forward to taking advantage of the forum. I have to admit I am addicted to two hobbies that are capable of taking up a little time. I am both a Radio amateur as well as an owner of other dangerous tools (Router, Table, & Radial Arm Saw mainly). I still have 9 & 3/4s fingers. (Another long story, not involving tools) and enjoy finding a way to do things with my shop such as it is.

Not bragging because it isn't done right yet. I have a lamp that I thought I could mount to a wall but discovered that bringing power in thru the wall was a bigger job than I thought so I am planning on making a backing plate for the lamp so it can be hung on the wall and plugged into an outlet.

So far I have figured out a way to make a circle with my Radial arm saw but have been wondering if it is easier to do the same thing plus routing the edge with just my router. Then I discovered RouterForums. So far it has been interesting.
