Default Another new mamber

Hello all, I am am fairly new to woodworking and routing. I have a few questions that I would like to ask of all the experienced woodworkers on this forum.
I have a router,Triton 3 1/4 hp, mounted in a Ryobi benchtop table. I haven't used it much, but when I did use it, I am very happy with it. I want to build myself a table base on casters, and then purchase a professional top and dedicate the Triton to the table. I also want to purchase a 2 1/4 or 2 1/2 hp router for dedicated handheld use. I am asking for input on the best router table top and the best 2 1/4hp router for my needs. I do not have a strict budget, but would like to get the best bang for my buck. I also don't want to regret my purchase after the fact, and am not sure what my uses will eventuallu be for my routing, so I will need something that will allow me to do the most. At this time, my plans are to build guitars and speaker cabinets.
If this is not the proper place for this post, please feel free to move it. Thank you all in advance.

Oh, i am interested in either Bosch, Milwalkee, or Porter Cable routers. And I would loce to see any plans for building the stand for the router table top.
Thanks again.

Greetings James,

Welcome to The Router Forums.

There are many threads here that deal with building router tables.

Wanted! pictures of your Router Table is a huge thread that took me days to read. Packed full of info about a huge variety of table types, it is a great place to figure out which features make a difference to you and the kind of routing you want to do.

Thank you for taking the time to join up and introduce yourself.
This is a great place to exchange ideas and information on how to get the most out of your router!
