Default newbie sayn hi

New to the forum and looking forward to learning as much as I can...Haven't started yet but soon, looking at a harbor freight router,2hp. looks light weight which is what I want...I'm a tattoo artist and want to bring some of that flare to wood...I am disabled, back,so I got plenty of time on my hands lol

Nothing against HF but I would stay away from them as far as power tools go at least some power tools. If you think that you want to do some serious routing then you would be better off buying a used brand name one than buying a cheap new one at HF. Check out Craigs list in your area. Around me the come up every week.

Rick, do yourself a big favor and pass on the HF router. You can buy a Craftsman combo kit for $100 or less and have a decent tool with good features.
