Doug(KP91) made this simple guide on how to post on the forums. It will also show you how to find out where you are on the forums. Great job Doug.

What a great Job Doug! This will help so many of our newer members find their way around better and be more comfortable making posts. Thanks for taking the time to do this.

Thanks also to Mike for making it a sticky.

Default testing photo attachment

Hello,

For the last few days I have been having trouble attaching photos.

This email will "test" my ability to attach a photo.

How does one "shrink" the size of the photo without loss of details ?

Neil
ps- there are my photos and a scan of my recent purchase....more information to come....after this commercial word.....do they still this on TV ?

Default Hello

I've been following Router Forum for quite a while and just recently responded to a question with some advice that I hope will be helpful.
Ive been playing with wood since I was 2 thanks to a grandfather with a very basic (all handtools) shop. He never bought lumber; always used reclaimed pieces he found.
I don't have his restraint. I have a pretty well-stocked shop, used mostly for furniture and cabinetry.
Glad to be able to discuss problems and ideas with you.
Incidentally, what do you think of the Ridgid ZRR4510 saw?
Am I the only one who finds it counter-intuitive to go to the end of a post to find the beginning and go to the bottom of a page and work up?

Default Introducing Myself

Hi everyone my name is Dennis and I am 83 years old,I am healthy and mobile,I live in a retirement village in Adelaide South Australia,we have a workshop which we are in the process of livening up,we have a reasonable amount of Machinery and I (being one of only two ex joiners) have made a 8foot x 3foot workbench,a drill press table, and a Router table as well as a sled for our Table saw...we haven't got a lot of enthusiasts yet but hopefully when the weather warms up here we will increase our "users".....We will have 211 units when the village is finished,at present about120 are occupied......I am looking forward to passing on my skills to my fellow villagers.
