Welcome to the forum, Moe.

That model number does not come up on the B & D web site?

Hey Moe, Would you believe that I have been watching Router Forums for a long time, and only joined a few months (weeks) ago and this is my first post.
Look, If the thing is not running, or all you need is a few belts, just take it to Lowes or Home Depot and ask the guys there what you need.
Luck, Sam

yes , the model comes up alright with a parts diagram but no talk about a manual ...on looking it over and playing with it , I can see what most of it does anyway ..so its not a big problem not to have a manual ...it runs good and the seller gave a bunch of new belts with it so all is well ......Moe

Default B&D Belt Sander

Hello All,

I have inherited this belt sander about 5 years ago, I just started using it today. What I cant figure out is that I went through 3 belts in about 15 minutes. I figured out how to use the sander but would like to have a manual on it too. Anyone have any advice on how to keep the belts together? each belt broke at the seam.

Thanx,

billf

Welcome to the forum, Bill.

Do you know, how old are the belts? Have you used a belt sander in the past?

Hello James,

Thanks for the tips link. The belts I was going through yesterday were belts that came with it 5 years ago. I am planning on a trip to Lowe's to see if new belts might be the trick. I always find that if I cant get the help there then there aint no help.
