Default Howdy from Tucson

Hi everyone,

I have not been doing woodworking for a long time. Recently my son James and I decided to start gathering tools and working on projects involving wood. Now is the time to start turning all that expense and tooling into something wonderful. So, with your help and teachings, I hope to do just that.

Thank you all in advance, I know your guidance and knowledge will be a wealth of valuable information!

Jim

Gene, we passed through parts of AZ recently, and find it hard to believe that a town in AZ would be called Snowflake....VBG.

Do you know the origin of the name?

James, I am not Gene Howe but, as I recall sometime before I made my presence , there were some Mormon Settlers that settled in Northern Arizona, There was one family named Snow and another named Flake. When the town was established they decided to call it Snowflake. The Flake family is currently very active in politics in Arizona.

What?! A politician that admits to being a flake? I'm astounded. Now if we could only get the rest of them to fess up.
