Hello - I have been a member for a while and have learned a lot here. I think it is about time that I say, "Hello and thank you!"
My name is Bill, I am retired and started woodworking about 30 years ago when I broke something of my wife's
(an old wooden napkin holder). In my panic I told her that I could make her another one and, son-of-a-gun, I did. That started her asking, "Can you make this and this and...?" My tombstone will read, "He tried" because, whatever the task, I always will try. I convinced her that Norm had the tools that I needed so, little by little, I acquired some tools. Now I have (guessing) 12 to 15 routers. Most will be displayed, as they are new old stock, excellent quality and too pretty to use. I have a nephew or two that will end up with them. I am getting the garage in shape (with the help of my 88 year-old father-in-law) with insulation, cupboards and outlets. Everything except what I need for the job is packed away for now.
Hey, thanks for listening and, again, THANK YOU for all the help and ideas that I have found here.
