Default Hello from the new boy

I found the forum while looking for info to help me identify a battered old router I was given. It looks like an Elu (I think a MOF 177) but it has the remains of a black and Decker label.
The manufacturers serial number and specification plate are long gone. The unit motor works sweetly but it is missing the collet and back nut so I've not used it under load. It feels like it has plenty of grunt.
I need to identify it to be able to obtain a replacement collet and nut.
Anybody able to help?

Perhaps a picture of the router? Someone will likely recognize it! Welcome to the forum, Steve.

Hi Steve - welcome to the forum!

As already stated, several pics may help for some further ID - impossible to make a guess on such an vague description?

Also, do you need to try a restoration that could be costly (not sure?) vs. just buying a new basic router? Not sure what your budget may be, but just a consideration - good luck in your choice - Dave
