Hello Damper here, from Brooksville Florida, brand new to the world of routing but really want to learn a lot fast I want to make some Christmas gifts. I first want to build a router table and buy the best router for that table so any advise would be greatly appreciated

Hi Luis - welcome to the forum!

Plenty of information here already on routers and tables - just do some searching! Also take a look @ THIS THREAD which links to a FREE (and excellent) router book by Lonnie Bird (on my iPad for easy reference) - this should get you started. Otherwise, post your more specific questions - the topic is rather broad! Dave

Hi, Damper. You might consider building a table. There are many posts about that, and youtube has a load of videos.

One word Craigs list. Keep you eye on the tool section and you can get the best for 50% or less than a new router would cost. If you find you don't like it then you can usually sell it for what you paid for it.
