Exclamation Introducing Graham

Hi, I'm recently semi-retired - still working part time as a psychotherapist. I've always liked the idea of working with wood - and that's what it has been mainly - the idea of working with wood as time and space has been the problem. I've now got some time so here goes.

I have a Triton work centre and am thinking about purchasing the router table for that machine. Does anyone have experience of using routers with that set-up?

Regards Graham

Welcome to the forum.

Thank you for joining us, Graham.

I used to have that setup and found no problems at all with using it. That was my first router table. I used a Triton TRA001 router with the table.

The only issue I had , being a newcomer at that time, was the idea I had to use the built in rulers to make sure that the fence was perfectly aligned to the marks. I now know that it is not necessary.

I sold my Triton Router table when I "fell in love" with the simplicity of the Oak Park System.

Sometimes I wish I still had it.........(for example, using the provided shims to create a jointer fence, and built in micro adjusters.)

Hi Graham - welcome to the forum - I too have a Triton work centre, and also have the older type Triton Router table, without the sliding insert. I have been using both for over 12 years, and can recommend the router table - and the newer model table with the sliding insert is a whole lot better.
