Chris, great find. I've got that site saved, and been thru a lot of it, but don't recall seeing either of those before. That's definitely the route I would go, I don't like buying what I can make.

yes, that guy is amazing. i intend to make one of the horizontal ones for my horizontal router setup. then it will be much more flexible.

Hi Jim
I have made all of Mathias Wandells router pantograph designs and they are all great, the plans are easy to follow but my problem is being able to get the fixed base routers and at 240 volt in Australia I have had to make do with laminate trimmers with only 1/4" chucks, I have even made one using a Dremel tool but that said I can still make lots of sawdust with them.
