Hey y'all, I'm a newby to the forum. Jes a bit about me. My real name ain't Mel but the user ID is being creative and sorta has a 'lil musical ring to it. Besides, I like oldie music and retired. Ima Texan so " don't mess with me " or the Rangers. Just kidd'n. Anyway, I started a hobby that shows some potential of going into business. BUT this is why I joined the forum. I need some advice on woodworking tools.
Here's my dililama = I currently am cutting out each of my projects one at a time using a scroll saw on 1/2 pine or cedar. IF I, at some point, need to make multiple pieces of the same project ----- well I'd be behind before I even got started. So, I read someplace that there is a devise that's called a router jig. But what I've seen of them, I don't know ifa that'll work for me. P.S. I am NOT roll'n in the dough and no way can I swing a CNC thang. The other Question is probably a little easier one. I would like to round off the edges of the 1/2 wood. I'm currently sanding them down and it's VERY time consuming. In your opinion should I get a table and router? If so, knowing now what I'll be doing, what HP, brand, bits etc do you reccomend?
Thanks a bunch guys - ALLAN
