Eddie, they work but Sears no longer offers parts for them. The good news is you can find them on Ebay or craigslist cheap.

I've got one that I've had for about 16 years, it popped a soldered wire loose, but as soon as I get around to resoldering that I expect it to work just fine. Got three more, possibly older, that were given to me, they all work just fine. Never had to order parts for any of them. By the way, these are the cheapest model.
