Hi Frank - welcome to the forum!

I've been to England & France several times; enjoy Pinot Noir wine but never did visit Burgundy - seen a not of pictures over the years from reading wine books and looks just beautiful.

Hope to see you posting - Dave

Default It's a small world

Hi Frank,
This a good forum to be in. Keep posting until you get the 10 posts required to post pictures of your work.
I'm answering you with a smile since I happen to live ON a street called BURGUNDY in California, USA, and our daughter lives near Annecy, France which is not too far from you. Small world...
Hope to hear more from you.
Mark
ps
I hope your internet service is better than hers...

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the welcome. Burgundy is indeed beautiful. And at this moment I'm sipping a Pinot Noir, a 2009 Hautes Côtes de Beaune, which is also beautiful!
Regards,
Frank

Frank, sipping wine and making sawdust; sounds like you have it pretty rough.

Hi James,
Thank you for the welcome. My lady friend (who lives here, about 8 miles from me) recently visited Australia for over 4 months. She started at Perth, toured up the West Coast about 500 miles to Carnarvon, then made that short (???) trip to Sydney via Adelaide and Melbourne. Great place, in more ways than one.
Best wishes,
Frank

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the welcome message. Annecy, the lake, Mont Blanc, I love it there. About 200 miles from my place by road (150 miles "as the crow flies"). I had some Californian wine recently -- maybe it came from your "neck of the woods". It was excellent!
The internet service here is quite good although a little slow. I'm at the "end of the line" and can't wait till they upgrade it to fibre optics.....
