Hi,

my name is steve. I'm 23 and just bought a dewalt 2hp plunge router and am looking for advice and guidance.

I've been into metal working for about a year now, and have decided to move into the finer art of things and start with wood. My short term goals right now are to make a dual 12" sub box and a couple in home bookshelf speaker cabinets.
Long term I hope to up my collection of bits and be able to make bookshelves chairs and anything else I use or give as wonderful gifts to children, grandchildren one day.

Steve, you will find some pretty neat threads on speakers on the forums; try putting that in the forums search box. Member HarrySin has a lot of experience with all forms of HIFI from rebuilding speakers to servicing the electronics. I have seen some very interesting speaker designs posted and they may be of interest to you as well.
