Default New To The Fourm

Hello,

Just been lurking on this Fourm and decide to join, I love CNC Machines and I am in the Process of building my First cnc Router , after owning my laser I want to create something bigger, so be warned I may need some help. Look forward to chatting with some of you here is a picture of my Build I always go Big, Specs

Key Features

Dual Motors and Ball screw on Y Axis.

1605 Anti backlash Ball screw on all axis.

SBR20mm Linear Rail on axis X and Y.

Two linear rails either side on Y Axis.

16mm Linear Rail on Z Axis.

Ball screw and linear rails on Y axis are below work surface to reduce the ingress of dust and shavings.

The machine uses NEMA-34 (8.7N.m 1232 oz/in. Holding torque) stepper motors.

This unit can be scaled up if required.

Size of work piece X Axis 750mm (29-1/2)

Dean, Rick Rosendahl of the Router Workshop is now working with 3D printing and I am guessing that will get added into your collection of machines in the not too distant future.

Welcome Dean,

Wouldn't mind seeing some info and photos on your laser and other projects.

Made a new wood rack on the weekend and have some more room to fill

Under construction, always.
