Default Hello from upstate South Carolina

Hi Everyone,

I enjoy all types of woodworking and am looking forward to gaining info from this form.

I like to make furniture, cabinets, toys, etc. I asked for and recieved my first router (Black and Decker), and a jigsaw (Craftsman), when I was 15 years old (1979). I've always had fun with wood.

Welcome from a former South Carolinian. Lived in Lugoff for 35 years before moving to TN after retiring. Don't know exactly where you live in the upstate but there is an excellent woodworking club in Greenville (if you didn't know) and there are some really friendly folks at the Woodcraft store there. My friend John gives classes there and is an excellent craftsman trained in the English apprentice style. Look him up, he can help you out.
