Hi from central Connecticut, USA:

I am new to the forum but have dabbled in woodworking since I was seven.
I am 57 now so in 50 years you would think I would know something, but alas I am not a master woodworker yet.
I built custom kitchens for awhile but had to work in the metal cutting industry to make a living. Now that I am getting closer to retirement I hope to make furniture and other smaller projects to supplement my retirement and keep my mind occupied.
I enjoy learning which is why I stumbled onto this site, looking for a way to light up a router base.
I refurbish vintage machinery and use hand tools as well as power tools. I try to discover the best methods to get a job done, it does not have to be the latest fad or the old way just what works and gets the best results.
I look forward to learning from all of you and just maybe contribute from my limited store of knowledge. .

Hey, Tom; welcome; 'Bobj3' posted a how-to item a couple of months back, re using inexpensive LED flashlights for lighting the router work path...
LED Flashlights - Lee Valley Tools
If he sees this maybe he can re-post his original?
