Hi, New member here. Retired. Have done woodworking and metal working. Avid model airplane builder and flyer. Recently got the itch to get a CNC laser cuter or CNC router, mostly for model airplane parts, servo mounts, etc. Have pretty much (>80%) decided on a CNC router. For the time being, I will be just reading and observing as I have no experience in CNC.

G'day John. Welcome to the forum.

There are some learned CNC users here to help you. Post your questions in the CNC section for better results.

Welcome to the forum. I just joined a couple of weeks ago, and am finding much useful information.

I'm looking to turn my ShopNotes Milling Machine into a CNC controlled unit. Still researching the possibilities.
