i would like to make new wood look like barn wood. does any one know the formula

Default

The vinegar and steel wool solution is used for ebonizing and the effect is darker on darker species. Light colored woods can take on a weathered look while darker woods will turn a dark brown to black. Check the effect on a sample of your wood to be sure its what you're after.
