Default Hi all from Western South Dakota

I will just start out with a question. I have done a search but found no answer so thought I would try to post a question. I have a Freud 3 1/4 hp plunge router LR 106530. I am thinking of buying a router lift and can't seem to find one for the Freud. Any thoughts? Thanks, just discovered this forum an am looking forward to learning a bunch.

Welcome to the forum, Larry.

I was out your way in June. Went through Rapid City on the way to Mt Rushmore and Yellowstone National Park.

Also stayed at Cody.

Welcome aboard. I have my routers fastened to plates, the fit in the table and are a lot faster and easier to pop out than any lift. The only way I would have a router lift is if I got a bug and just decided to make one, just to make one, which is not likely, I like the router plates way too much.

Check out Matthias Wandel's plans, he's been a real phenomenon on YouTube the last few years. He's an engineer who likes woodworking, He has designed a lot of plans, most free, a few cost a very low price. One of his most popular plans is for a tilting router lift.

Tilting router lift plans for sale -- check it out, it's $14. I have no financial connection with this guy other than buying a few plans from him in the past.

James, I believe with wind river turns into the big horn river somewhere in the canyon. I fish the big horn on occasion. Big strong trout fun place to fish but is quite popular now days. Larry

Sorry, Larry. I might have misled you there.

I just checked my video, and the area I was thinking of was on "16" between Buffalo, WY and Tensleep, WY. In Bighorn National Forest.

Just past South Dakota.....

One of the trips best memories......

One of the other videos had Wind River Canyon.....

Still, a beautiful part of America.........
