Default Hello Everyone!

Hi everyone, I am brand new to routers and boy am I glad I stumbled upon this forum! I just ordered a Bosch MRP23EVS and am looking to become more familiar with bits etc. before it arrives, clearly I can do much more than initial research on here. First project is going to be building a banquette for the house, can't wait to get started!

Welcome to the forum. The Bosch router should serve you very well. I look forward to seeing pictures of your projects. Hope you will post a few!

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

I found the book, Woodworking with the Router, by Bill Hylton at the same time I bought my Bosch 1617. The book covers just about everything about Routers, bits, jigs and techniques. Peachtree has it for about $20. It really helped me get going on routing.
