Default New member here..

Hi,
Just dropping into say hello. I'm new here, and new to routing. I have a need to learn
the intricacies of router use for some refurbishment work I am doing here at home.

I am an experienced metalworker (model engineer) but my woodwork in the past has largely been restricted to general / building site joinery - doors, architraves and skirtings etc.

I hope to be able to share as well as learn...

Pat.

Welcome to the forum, Pat

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Welcome to the forum Pat. I started woodworking, because quality metal working equipment was way out of my means. I had less than $3000.00 in all of my woodworking equipment and that might buy one piece of quality metal working equipment, then there would be the tooling that goes with it. Looking forward to pictures of your steam engines.
