Default Collet for skil 100

I have an older skil router, Model 100 and the collet is broken....Rouiter works excellently but I cannot find a replacement collet (1/4")...Any ideas?

Hi Ed. Only one suggestion... 1-877-754-5999 is Skil's phone number. No guarantee even there!

I have found that hand tools are the best choice when I want to make mistakes at a slower rate of speed.

I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.

Hi Ed, I'm familier with older Skil routers but I didn't know there was a model 100. Fill me in, post a picture if possible. I have a few older collets but the model# baffles me.

The 299 originally came with a 1/4" and/or a 1/2" collet. I don't have either of those in my parts box. Compatibility might be tough with that one, hope someone here has the answer.
