Default Great to be here

Some of you may know me at Creston Wood. I decided to join this forum because so many woodworkers are hitting my site for free router table build plans, and I am hoping I can help more folks interested in a DIY approach.

Here's the one I built years ago and it's found its way into dozens of woodshops since, in many individual forms.

My site generates no income for me, I just put the plans out there for others to use. The count just for the router table plan is well over 14,000 downloads at this writing.
CrestonWood.com. You're welcome to browse and download the plans as you wish. Be sure to see the gallery of router tables built from my plans.

Most of my feedback has been through email. I am hoping to share discussions and questions here as well, if it's appropriate.

Best regards,
Dan

Welcome Dan. I just posted a link to your site on this forum a day or so ago. I have had your site in my bookmarks for around 2 years now, I believe. Great set of plans, and a great build on the table, and also an excellent website.

I too would like to thank you for your altruistic contributions. I built the top and have been building parts for the carcass over time. Having the information you made available really helped me.

Default Thanks for the Crestonwood Plan

I tried to contact you via your site some time ago to thank you for making your plan available, but none of the contact methods worked.

I downloaded it and built a router table from it which I have been really pleased with. The carcass was made from 3/4" ply and the drawer fronts and door from an old formica kitchen table. The top was kitchen worktop, which carries an Incra Router Lift and Porter-Cable 7518 Motor.

The split fence is based on 4" aluminium angle.

Really pleased with the table and couldn't have done it without your plan, so a big thank you!

Wow! Thanks to all for the nice comments. I count it a success when those plans are not just downloaded, but applied to project as several of you have. This is a great forum and I hope to contribute more to it. You're all a great bunch.
