Default Intro from Northern Cal

Hello: I am a former cabinet maker who is 55 years young. I worked in a cabinet shop from 77 to 92 and then moved into a desk job as a database analyst due to health problems. 8 hours a day standing on my feet took a toll on me. In a few years I am looking to retire and get back into woodworking. Presently I am slowly building up my tool inventory to what it used to be. I always loved working with wood and look forward to being able to spend more time doing that. I look forward to soaking up knowledge and reminders of some of the things I have forgotten over the years. I am glad I found this group and look forward to hearing from you.

It's like riding a bicycle, as soon as you start pedaling it all starts to come back to you. Welcome to the forum Richard.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
