Default Hello All

Hello All,
My name is Kenneth and I am very new to woodworking. I am a 100% disabled, retired veteran but can get around enough to do some things. I got to this site by looking for script lettering for a sign my little sister wants. I want to use my router and would not be very good at free handing it.

What I am looking for,(and I don't know if it exists) is a setup where I can route letters in a sign. Sort of like when you have something engraved, you actually follow a template while the engraving is done on the object. Don't mean to sound confusing, but I am old. lol

I am willing to try anything and have all the time in the world to complete the project, so any and all help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Kenneth

Hello Kenneth

At the top of our homepage is a menu selection entitled 'Feeds'. In the Feeds section you will find some helpful information under the topics 'sign making' and 'special needs'.

Take it slow and easy, beginning work working is rewarding but can be frustrating.

Hang in there and enjoy!

regards
Ben

Welcome to the forum,Kenneth.

Have a look in "Router Magic" by Bill Hylton. He has plans to build a Router Duplicator.

Someone has to make the templates for you?

Or you can look at something like this:
