Default As the name suggests

As the name would imply I focus on getting material resources at minimal cost and then rearranging them into, finished products. Hundreds and maybe more vacation bible school crafts. And pens of course, lots of pens. I like giving pens because they make such an impressive gift at such minimal cost (Normally under a dollar). Recently I tried a few miniature birdhouses and they were very well received by my wife's friends at her bible study banquet. She has them draw lots to see who gets to take home the table decorations. Now I am working at expanding my skill set some to include more turning but With moving to a new older smaller home in Maryland one thing is certain. I will need to stay focused on small projects to match the reduced working space. My daughter tells me I am already booked for at least one pen demo at the local W .. . .. store. And my son-in-law already has my first new dumpster secured with a custom cabinet maker.

Welcome to the forum John. It is possible to do enjoyable woodworking without spending a ton of money.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
