Glad you could join us. Newly employed teacher? Although I don't care much about "educators," I hold teachers in high esteem. Congratulations. Folks here will be very happy to be helpful. One suggestion is to spend time on YouTube watching woodworking videos. You may stumble upon something interesting that might become your first project. Safety is very important, dust masks at least and safety glasses are a must. This is one of the most interesting hobbies you can undertake. You'll never know everything there is to know, which is wonderful.
