Default New guy

I'm completely new to this place and woodworking overall. In fact, I don't even own a router and my "workshop" is on the back patio with a homemade workbench and cheap Craftsman miter saw that sits on a cheap Craftsman miter saw stand. But with a kreg jig for Christmas, I managed to build that workbench, some floating shelves and a coffee table. Now, I'd like to add to my makeshift shop and see what I can do next.

Hi Jason, welcome to the forum.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Welcome Jason,

Sounds to me like you're off to a good start.

The reason I have what you want is, I never lent it out before.

Scraps are a myth.
