Default Glad Winter is just about over.

Hello all.
My name is Anthony Ward Sr and I am a retired widower who does woodworking in My apartment with my cats Diana and Frosty.
Last year I built 4 wooden Toy boxes 2 for My Grandsons and 2 for sale they turned out better than I could have expected since I do this in a rental apt.

I now have a folding table saw a small router table(Portable) and a large amount of hand and power tools that allow me to do this.

My first project for 2014 is a set of living room tables cocktail and 2 ends out of a tabletop that I was given it measured 36" x56" originally I have cut it so that the table will be Approx. 20" x36" and constructed out of four different woods, Walnut Plywood for the front and back sides, Maple Plywood for the ends, various red oak moldings and the Butcher block top.

I know this sounds a little crazy but I want to highlight the Wood.
I will post Photos' as the work Progresses.

Get cutting and let the chips fall where the may.

I turned my living room into a workshop (mobile home). Fortunately I am in Florida and for the occasional visitor, there's a screened-in area. I guess the dining room becomes the living room then. Hey, a girl has to have priorities.

The set you made looks interesting.

Hope the rest of your winter is mild. Down here it's been rainy with chance of snakes.

Nice looking chest Anthony. Welcome to the forum.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
