Hi ALL

I am a 70 year plus woodworker who has been making sawdust for 50 plus years. Orlando, Fl is home and I get to work all year long in my shop.

A buddy and I normally make some 6,000 toys a year which we give to organizations that help the underprivileged. For a long time Disney furnished us with the wood, but lawyering stopped that a few years back. The Docs made me quit making toys due to repetitive work, so now I only do one offs of whatever I make.

I look forward to learning a lot about routers from you folks.

Bye Now

Hi Richard and welcome to the forum. 6000 toys given away each year is impressive. Your heart is in the right place.

Someone told me a lawyer joke years ago that I still like. According to the joke a university somewhere in the US has stopped using lab rats for experiments and started using lawyers instead. They found they could get lawyers to do things that they couldn't get the rats to do.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

G'day Richard. Welcome to the forum.

So, instead of giving you some lumber, Disney now pay for landfill?
