Default Wish I had not found this forum

That's not exactly true. I AM happy to have found it. I am just unhappy to realize that I will now be spending even more time online. I have something over 35 years of experience with woodworking but never seem to be able to learn everything I would like to about it. So sites like this are both a blessing and a curse.

A lot of my shop time is taken up designing and building tools and machinery - like my latest design for a CNC Router. With luck, this next weekend (Saturday, I hope) I will be doing a one-day build of the 25" x 25" all aluminum machine. I'll probably post a timelapse video of the build. Then on Sunday I can disassemble the 25" x 25" wooden router that the new one is to replace.

I will be using the machine to build some new tool designs I have in mind, everything from a drum sander to a pen lathe to a bender brake and a whole set of new jigs and aids for woodworking projects.

In between, I am usually doing laser engraving of wooden photo albums for my friends' and families' endless streams of newlyweds and newborns.

If you had just hit the back button on your browser after reading the first post or two you might have had a chance to forget about this site.

Welcome to the forum and we enjoy seeing member's projects. By the way, you don't need 10 posts to post pictures, as long as they are in your hard drive and not on a site like Photobucket.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

Welcome to the forum! My wife thinks I spend too much time on this and other forums. I told her I would forego the computer and start dating again. You see I'm still on the computer. Ask questions as there is a trainload of information available here.
