Question Beginner!

As stated in my profile, at 73 I decided to start making picture frames (I'm a very amateur photographer) using discarded weathered wood. I purchased a used hand held Craftsman router attached to a small Craftsman router table.

My question is: how do I adjust the cutting depth of the bit?
Do I need to remove the router from the table or can I do it with the router attached?

I know this is very basic, But I had to start somewhere.

Hi Ron, there are many different models of Craftsman routers so we will need either a photo or a model number to assist you on this.
