Hi Otec.

Check your local cabinet makers for some suggestions. Due to Voltage differences many routers available in US are not available in Philippines.

You may be able to get Makita Hitachi etc.

Hi James,
Your right about voltage difference. We got 220v here. We do have 220v versions of makita, dewalt, bosch, hitachi and other brands but they cost a lot..about a month (or two) worth of monthly salary..im opting to buy second hand or even surplus routers (ussually returned items with cosmetic flaws, or store display units that took a little beating but mechanically still good) ..right now budget contraint considerd..im opting to get the ryobi ert1250 rg or vk series, or even the ert2100..looking around the threads if ever anybody gt reviews for them

Hi Otec, since prices are high and I am guessing parts are difficult to get quality is very important. I would suggest you look to Bosch. You will find directions on the forums for building your own table.

Hello there
It's just a thought but if you look for a good condition second hand router you may get more for your money. Getting tools cheap and cheap tools are two different things.
Good luck.
