Smile Hi All from Central Australia

Hello everyone,

I am new to woodworking & routing. I am very excited to learn and experience as much as possible. I currently have a Ryobi 1250 watt router but I have found it to be un satisfactory for my use (hardwood & Perspex/Plexiglass)

I am hoping to buy a more powerful router & setup a router table over the next few months. I currently have a 305mm Bosch compound mitre saw & various other consumer level tools.

Welcome Miko, if you're up Alice Springs way, check the main highway going North, and tell me if those two roos are still hanging out. I watched them for about 2 days while once trying to hitch a ride there.

Hey All,

Thank you for the warm welcome!

Yes Otec I have quite a lot of Ryobi gear in my shed (circular saw/battery-nailgun/cordless drill) and it is all really great gear for the price!

The Router is a little underpowered to be used under a table but works well as a plunge/trimming router. After reading reviews I am saving my pennies for a solid steel table and a Triton Router to run.

Hey Luxlarry - those Roos are still there!

See you mob around!

Miko
