Default A Newbie Here!

Greetings, All!

I am new to his community. I just ordered a new SawStop contractor table saw, and am wondering about adding a router table to save space in my garage. I have a Bosch 1617, but may buy another dedicated router. Has anyone ordered a cast iron extension wing from SawStop and had a machinist cut an opening for a router plate?

Cheers,

Will

Default Cast iron wing

Welcome Will. I, too, am interested in cast iron wing for my Craftsman table saw. I'll watch your thread for my own benefit.

So far, no help. In digging around the site, it seems that it would be best for me to buy a dedicated router for the table. I am in the Chicago area, so I will see if I can find a machinist to do this. Now to decide on a router, lift and plate...
