Welcome to the forum Ednan. I'm pretty handy with a chainsaw but I'm not a carver.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

I know someone who sells it, and most likely does their own work -- but since we have no clue what part of the country you're in...........

That would depend on how you define art. I've done three Tikis, mostly with a chainsaw. Loads of fun, but while some people would call it 'art', I wouldn't. One of my sons destroyed my chainsaw, so planning on eventually getting a small electric one for carving. And I still won't call it art, because is just won't be more than crude - albeit fun.

.....Call me a craftsman, artisan, or artistic, and I will accept that. Call me an artist and you will likely get a quite rude comment in return. I am not a @#$%ing artist.
