Default I'm a new member

I joined Router Forums because friends of mine said it was a great site. I am retired and I love woodworking. I have been into woodworking for 35 years and have enjoyed doing it all this time. The nice thing about retirement is that it gives me plenty of free time to work in my shop. My favorite things are building cabinets, bookcases, furniture and various small miscellaneous projects. Hello to all of you members of the Router Forum. I hope to enjoy this forum and add my input whenever I can.

Welcome to the forum Ronald. I hope you enjoy time spent here. It is a very friendly place.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.

I am also retired ... that being said I have loved wood working, making cabinets, bookcases and the like I even do refinishing of Hoosiers and that has been a passion for the past 10 years. Well as many of us older youngsters can not with out help move the Heavy products of our labors, I have turned to making toys and with a passel of grandchildren that will become a full time job also but one that I totally enjoy so I joined the Toymakers Forum at ToymakingPlans.com they have a lot of toys to make and the price is reasonable but the forums are a ball to read through and have a wealth of Information on just about every thing from A-Z.
