Morning,
I am an absolute newbie to woodworking.
At the ripe young age of 71 I have suddenly taken an interest in woodworking and particularly intrigued with the router when I saw the Router Workshop on WNIT. I wish they still had the program on someplace. DIY would be a great place to have a show.
I particularly like the router table setup.
My main drawback is the cost of the bits and the wide variety. Being on fixed income that is sort of a owie.
I guess, for me, it is something fun to mess around with. At least, at this point, I don't plan on making fancy or intricate projects - just some basics?
I do have an "old" table saw and a radial arm saw.
Do know whether I really need the radial arm since I have mitre saw. But, what the heck - the more the merrier.
Another toy I would like to know about. Is there such a thing as a pantograph for a router or even like a dremel or something similar?
You are welcome to use my email address in contacting me, if you like.
Thanks
