Default Greetings!

I'm a retiree who has gotten into woodworking to support rebuilding two vintage trailers that I own.

My property has a barn large enough to build a shop into which I can pull the trailers.

I have a few primary power tools, a table saw, compound miter saw, drill press, and a small planer, in addition to the usual hand-held power tools.

I know little about traditional woodworking and even less about furniture making. My primary projects will be to replace the rotten 1X2 framing and build a new, more useful set of interior cabinets and drawers.

I live in Southern Oregon where we have lots of decent wood, both hard and soft, and even a couple of small mills that will turn logs into lumber.

Welcome aboard.

Search You Tube for "restoring old trailers". Lots of videos on restoring old trailers.

Good luck.

Holler if you have any questions. Somebody on here probably has an answer or some advice that may help.

That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!

Welcome to the forum Chas. Beautiful country you live in if you you don't mind the drizzle in the winter. I spent 3 years in Portland a little over 40 years ago.

Someone I consider a master woodworker once told me that a master woodworker is not someone who never makes mistakes. He is someone who is able to cover them up so that no one can tell.
