Question Elu MOF96 Bearing Replacement

Greetings from a newbie...

Has anyone had experience of replacing the bottom (main) bearing on an Elu MOF96? My router is about 25 years old, it's the original variant, fixed speed. It's run well until recently when I've noted that the unloaded speed occasionally drops and the bearing is running hot.

So, assuming that the bearing is finally giving up, is it feasible to change in the home shop - I can buy a replacement - or is this something that I need to find a professional to work on? If there is anyone out there who has done this, I appreciate any pointers. Or if anyone knows a UK repair shop that services routers that would be helpful too.

Regards

Andy
