| wil141 | Update on WORM GEAR I spoke with Keith today at Triton (I guess he's part of the new company), I explained to him the problem I was having with the WORM GEAR. He said they've been receiving a lot of calls in regards to the WORM GEAR. He also stated that they are trying to get a handle on the situation. I suggested to him that if the piece were made of metal they probably wouldn't be having this problem & return he said that's something they are currently looking into. I told him some of the guys on the router workshop forum were having the same problem with their Triton WORM GEAR & that's when he let me know he wanted to get on the website to read some of the reviews before this problem really got out of hand. Keith also said that putting the base plate back on (when it's mounted in the router table) might help the problem. They thought at one point it was a spring being left out that was cauing the problem when mounted in the router table but as of now they really don't know what is causing the problem. I guess this is it for now, I'm waiting for my new WORM GEAR...  |
